We are proud to be one of the few companies in Hungary with nearly eight decades of history that still operates in the same market segment as when it was founded.
With the accumulated expertise and competencies over the years, we are present on the market as the region's largest traditional public catering, hospitality, tourism and energy joint-stock company.
Our company, specializing in public catering, hospitality, and tourism, was founded in 1949 as Mecsekvidéki Vendéglátó Vállalat and transformed into a joint-stock company in 1993.
Currently, we employ nearly 70 people and operate five main kitchens and several serving kitchens in Pécs, Komló, and Kozármisleny. Our units produce approximately five thousand meals daily.

We offer a comprehensive range of catering services to our clients, from catering for kindergartens and schools to flexible menu options for companies, and exclusive, representative receptions.
We provide catering services both in our own restaurants and at external venues. In our kitchens, we prepare nearly 1.2 million meals annually using modern technology, while strictly adhering to our customers' needs and the highest legal standards.
We cover the entire spectrum of catering services, and our references include the organization of both single-day and multi-day events. In addition to smaller events, we have successfully catered for the daily meals of 3,000 participants at the Europa Cantata event, as well as for the orienteering world championships.
On the path to development
Public catering has been the company's primary focus to date, but we believe that long-term success can only be achieved through diversification. Therefore, we have made significant investments in tourism, real estate development, and most recently, the construction of solar power plants.
Our tourism activities are constantly expanding. We started with a guest house in Orfű and have since added two more, now accommodating over 50 guests.
In 2013, the Fordan Hotel was completed in the heart of Pécs. This 31-room hotel features a conference room, sauna, and a private parking lot.
In 2018, it achieved a guest satisfaction rating of 8.9 on booking.com. In addition to the above, we also lease office and retail spaces in Pécs, utilizing the available capacity of our office building located in the city center.
